You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Pegasus forgets its safe word as the Engine Room is damaged! That concludes Cain's turn. I'm sending Baltar's cards out now. President Baltar, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Okay, Mr. President, sir. If you don't feel you can XO Boomer for turn-related reasons, you could XO me and I could move to the Hangar Deck and launch to be a human shield wreak havoc on the Cylon forces. I think I could launch right into Sector 6 where the party is, right?

That would mean that Boomer would not be sprung by her turn and would not get her full complement of cards, so that's something you'll need to take into consideration.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

I have considered my options, especially the fact that we as a group are down a lot of cards. I could get myself a couple more cards, but I think, for the good of the team, it's more important that Boomer gets all of hers, so I'm going to live on the edge. I'm a wiiiiiiild and crazy President, you guys: I XO-2 Boomer to get back in the skies.

If you betray my trust, Boomer, I will eat your baby.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG

President Baltar, I commend you for your willingness to think outside the box and put your faith in me. A faith that has allowed me to heal surprisingly fast and get off the morphine drip. A faith to move battlestars, truly.

A faith, to be blunt, that has been horribly misplaced.

I play Consolidate Power -2 to draw two Treachery

and for my second action I throw off the shackles of oppressive humanity and flee the Sickbay for FTL Control where I blaze away madly, taking out countless unnamed extras. Fear me, puny humans! Rule my kills count towards Galactica's total, will you? Eat coherent light energy!

If only I knew how this FTL thing worked so I could disable it! But I can do enough damage that you won't be able to jump for a long while, my pretties. Extend some hospitality to your friendly neighborhood Raiders.

Eta: MWAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! Okay, I probably should have mentioned my suspicions to someone other than the gamemaster, and now that I think about it I sure shouldn't have wasted all those pretty red cards on a failed attempt to keep her healthy.

Curse you, Boomer and your sudden but inevitable betrayal! "This scouting stuff is *hard*" indeed, huh? Ms. attacky with all your attacking. Harumph.

It was hard! Trying to pick a crisis that would be bad but not so bad that you would all immediately know I was working against you is really difficult.

Mine remains an evil laugh.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

Ouch! Well played, you treacherous toaster, you.

edit: I literally just jumped out of my chair and paced around crying, "NO! no no no no no no!" for a good minute.

Such Treachery! With, apparently, the promise of more Treachery to come. I had no idea, did you? The cost in unnamed extras is truly staggering!

I'm in transit right now, so I'll finish all the wetworks later. In the meantime, I can tell you that Boomer's reveal power sets the jump track back two spaces. This takes you back to the start. Once Boomer receives her Treachery, she will also need to discard a card. On the plus side, Baltar still gets a Crisis. Revealing on an XO is just so gosh-darn efficient!

Oh, and the final item: I'm sorry, Mr President, but you made the promise and now you have to eat a baby. You wouldn't go back on your word, would you? The chefs will be along shortly to discuss your options, you don't need to eat it raw and wriggling, after all. I mean, we're not savages!
