I'd rather burn one card than three. If SR doesn't help anyone then I won't play it and instead will burn two cards.

Oh, no! I don't have any interrupts to play and I don't draw yellow or green, so I can't help at all. Good luck, Anders!
BSG
I don't want to die! Sheesh, that Admiral sure is tetchy. Not my fault Galactica is kicking Cylon ass! Whoo! What was I saying, oh, right, I don't want to die!
The SR doesn't help me. I can help moderately. And I don't think we should tank this one! I mean, strategically. Um.
No IC's, huh? That would be helpful, although given the color if it's an option between that and playing into the check, I'd rather be saved than know I'm being saved, know what I mean? I mean, I'd rather know I was being saved and be saved, than not be saved, but...maybe I should quit talking now.
Let's at least take the random out of this. I play my Guts and Initiative 1 to remove Destiny from the question. It may knock off some help, but since it's a two color check, it may knock off some inevitable betrayal, too.
BSG
SR doesn't help me and I can only help a little.
BSG
Hey, did Anders get a purple or a red for his fifth card this draw?
BSG
Oh, right, I got a red; I'd left co's about it.
Thanks
BSG
I pass on interrupts

Cain helps a little, Anders helps moderately, Cally's playing two cards, Boomer can't help. I'm still not sure whether I should play one card or two. If I play two, I will definitely not be able to help if we get a check on Cain's turn, but depending on the color, I may not have been able to anyway.
BSG
If I were you I'd play two. It's better to overkill than to use a bunch of cards for nothing.
