By CO, Cain plays an SP-3 on the attack.
Die roll = 6 + 2 = 8.
Basestar damaged twice!
Result:
Structural Damage
Critical Hit!
Basestar destroyed!
A powerhouse performance there. A pity the Admiral pays less attention to events within the civilian fleet. Her supply chain is under threat!
Food Hoarding in the Fleet
President's Choice
President Baltar, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG
Well, frak. I don't want to take another Morale hit! And chance losing something else as well. I'm going to guess we're lower on SP's and Calculations than we usually would be, even though 3 or less isn't that dangerous. I think Food tends to come up less, whereas Morale is going to come up over and over. Also, my turn is coming up, and I'm going to have to choose between trying to raise Morale and getting Anders out of Sickbay. What say you, humble voters?
P.S. Nice shooting, Admiral.
BSG
Nice shooting, Admiral
Thank-you very much, President Baltar. I feel like celebrating with a feast. (iow, I think we should go for the food loss)
BSG
Then I choose
Option 2.
As I wait for my turn to start, I need to ask my constituency whether they can help SP a potential Morale boost and/or help get Anders out of Sickbay before his turn because I really think I should use my turn to help with Morale, if we have another SP and possibly even a Calculations around. We're going to keep losing Morale, so let's stay as high as we can.
BSG
Let's wait to boost morale until we know someone else has an xo. I believe losing Anders' card draw is not worth raising morale.
BSG
We're going to keep losing Morale, so let's stay as high as we can.
Well, that would certainly help with Morale, yes. The President's special recipe for synthetic hash brownies (science: it works, bitches!) is a huge hit! Morale remains strong. However, he sadly underestimate their popularity, and the whole quarter's supply disappears within days! When asked about the security breach, officer-on-duty Sharon Valerii had this to say: "Duuuuuuude."
Food falls by 2. Next, the raiders kick into life and move to Sector 2. Finally, the jump track advances again. That concludes Cain's turn. Baltar's cards are going out. President Baltar, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

I
discard Support the People-1
to
move
to the
President's Office.
Then I issue an
Executive Order-1
to Anders:
Samuel T. Anders, as your President, I command you to get your ass out of bed and, I don't know, fire on some Raiders or some shit. Get the hell out of Sickbay; I need more room for cyborg failures.
BSG
Thank you Mr. President, sir. I am feeling much better already, although for some reason I could do with a snack.
The vipers are too far off, so it'll be quicker to use Galactica, right? So I
move to Weapons Control
and I
fire on a raider in Sector 2.
No interrupts.
