Arg, Gud. I'm really sorry to hear this, as I liked Cog very much. Is it something you might explore for self-publishing?
I've thought about it. The whole cover thing has me a bit stalled on the idea, and I'd want to double and triple check for mistakes. I'd expect to make nothing on it, so I'd want to keep spending in the same range.

Soooo, anyone have any good resources about appearance fees? A convention has contacted me about bringing me out as a guest, and the guest relations person wants to know my requirements for accommodations and appearance fees.
Needless to say, I had never EVER considered the idea of appearance fees before this.
