Fantastic interview about writing with Cheryl Strayed.
The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
Just have to post this somewhere. Despite feeling overwhelmed all the time, I am managing to keep writing this time. Wrote all day yesterday. Should have been grading, mind you, but was so happy about the writing coming that I just kept writing.
Awesome, Burrell!
Thanks Amy. I find it so hard to carve out time to write, but I suspect that is just an excuse. But it's nice to feel excited about a piece for once.
That is fabulous, Burrell!
That's awesome!
Yesterday I took a flash fiction workshop with Cat Rambo and then wrote a piece of flash inspired by one of the writing prompts. I've also got two flash pieces and one story to revise and submit by the end of this month.
Good work, P-C!
Wow, P-C!
And today grading must take my attention away from writing. Argh!
I realized that a flash piece I wrote in February would be perfect for the current Penumbra theme if I can make it not terrible. Another flash piece I wrote in February was workshopped in my writing workshop, and people found it pretty funny, so I need to polish it a bit. And I'm submitting a story to an anthology about genius loci, and that one's looking pretty solid after another revision or so.
