Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

Because books.

I signed up! And I'm doing something totally new, a middle grade novel. Got 1200+ words done yesterday, which was more or less the goal. Now to do that for ... the next 29 days.

I signed up. I'm reworking a short vampire fantasy story I started ~13 years ago and, hopefully, turning it into a novel. I was surprised by how interesting it was when I discovered it in an archive of stuff Greg had saved for me when we first got married. So far, I've done 1600 words a day, but that will probably slow down when I get out of the previously plotted territory.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Deena! It's good to hear you're writing again.

I should probably take NaNoWriMo to start working on my WIP again. It's been a few months since I touched it. I still wish NaNoWriMo was not in November.

I'm not signed up, but I'll be working on Cog and the Copper Dragon and maybe on revising Cog if I get edits back. However, my NYC-based agent has more important things to worry about at the moment.

I'm on there as Lori Reads, to link to my book review website, also because the book is GLBT friendly and the only recent pub I have is a lesbian short story.

What is everyone else on there as?

edit to make with the sense...

November may more be my "catch up on beta reading" month. I haven't forgotten you Gar, I've really been that busy.

I can't wait to read your stories, Gud. They sound pretty wonderful.

Thanks.

I went to my son's book fair last night and looking at all those MG Scholastic books got me wanting to poke my agent about the edits so we can get to the subbing, but there's that whole hurricane thing.

I'm not even trying NaNoWriMo, because when I am not working on client projects, I have to tweak the living hell out of my site content. TweLiHeOuOSiCoMo?
