bahahahahaa. OMG. Awesome.
Sylvie's got great tips for public speaking, btw! She chimed in on a blog post where I'm not yet talking about the fact that I'm an 'opening act for the Hugos*' (TM, P-C). So you all are technically the first to hear about this development.
- typing while laughing. I'm probably going to have to sprint across the convention center to see the Hugos, after.
Yay, Sox!
Congrats Sox! That sounds exciting!
Exciting, interesting, terrifying...
P-C, you helped me write my con blog post - [link] Thank you!
You're welcome! (I must confess I was confused at first and didn't realize your reading wasn't in the same location as the Hugos. But still!)
When I ask someone if they would be interested in a copy of my book for comment, and they say yes, how long after is reasonable to follow up and ask if they have had a chance to glance at it? Would you say a month is not being too naggy?
I would, but let the publishing pros weigh in. Some offices kind of close down for the summer, though.
Can you explain what you mean, Typo? What does "for comment" mean? A review? A quote?
