I immediately imagined Wednesday and Puggsley Addams.

I was perusing a letter from E.B. White on the wonder Letters of Note website. Such a delight to read really eloquent writing. I noticed something interesting: White ends is letter with "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak my piece." I thought the phrase was "speak my peace", as in "saying what I need to say in order to have satisfaction and peace of mind," though I definitely can see the interpretation as "speak the piece of information that I want to communicate."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Huh. I always thought it was "speak my piece."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

It is "speak my piece."

And congrats, Gud! That's awesome!

Going to go read Sox' interview!

I'll claim regionalism, then, instead of admitting I was wrong. Yay, parochialism!

The agent I sent a full manuscript wants to give me a call to talk about it.

Okay, I'm getting kinda excited about this.

As well you should. Yay!
