What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, I think the actors will, having to navigate a set they've never seen before and entering and exiting constantly throughout the show.

Very cool, P-C! I wish I had the energy to come out and see it, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Because books.

Tonight's Simpsons is all about writing and books and publishing. Lisa sat down to write and realized she needed music to inspire her -- and immediately began to reorganize her CDs. Heh.

Oh, and it's the one Neil Gaiman is in!

Pure gold. I'm gonna have to watch again with many pauses to catch all the book titles, etc.

Coincidentally. I have not gotten much novel-writing done, but I have inventoried all my tea and some of my wine.

P-C, how'd the second act come out?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I have utterly failed at Nano so far. But I got my major reporting done, bought two cars, gave away two others, organized a party, sorted a ton of donations, cleaned the house, and packed for my trip. So maybe it works as an anti-procrastination tool, i.e., I procrastinate the novel, so I get everything else done?

I did submit a song lyric to one contest and half prepped for the second one, though. So I have been writing, just not what I thought I was going to be. I might try next month since theoretically I'll be on vacay.

They started with certain elements that weren't in my hypothetically canonical second act, but they still brought the story to a satisfactory conclusion. A couple actors had some pretty fantastic monologues, really digging into the themes of the play.
