I've found myself a new writing/critique group! Local authors who all write YA -- most of them were at the signing last week, and they seem like a really fun group.
Wish me luck! I need some f2f people here, and a writing group makes it even better.

I don't get NaNo e-mails either, and I think I just created the account (and didn't mess with any settings) this year, so maybe that's the default. I completely forgot to write on Saturday, and I am not hitting the daily target to make the magic 50,000 by the end of the month, but other than the one day I have written SOMETHING every day and that was really my goal. So, yay for that.

Yeah, I haven't worked on the story, but I've written more non-fiction, and I am perfectly happy with that, since I gotta pay the bills, yo.

Also, and in addition, I believe I will be moving to Philadelphia within the next three weeks. WHAT.
I will not go into gory details, because, they are boring to everyone but me, but, sometimes there is synchronicity to an almost scary degree, and when that happens, you don't ignore it. And I'm not, and that means Philadelphia, a place of my own, a job with an amazing person, being within about 45 minutes of my family in Yardley, and an opportunity to really grow my own business at the same time with the one person I would choose to be my mentor if I could pick anyone.
And Sox and Amy!! And anyone else? I'm posting here because I know they'll see it, and I'm beyond excited.
