OK, added back a couple, but I can't find Anne, and it won't let me add Liese back! Every time I click on her name, it sends me to the main NaNo page, and if I search for Anne or Liese's usernames, I get no results. Silly. I shall persevere.
'Hell Bound'
The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I don't think I'm going to sign up, but I will definitely shake pom poms in here, and crack the whip if people find it helpful.
Every time I click on her name, it sends me to the main NaNo page,
It was doing that to me until I tried clicking on the book name instead.
Thank you, Ginger! I was so frustrated. And I kept hitting it again and again, like I thought the elevator was going to come faster. Which it did NOT.
I've heard this for years about the NaNo site. You think by now they'd have more bandwidth or better servers or ... whatever it is you need to make the site more manageable.
Good luck everybody!
I have a nice stack of idea, but nowhere near enough time. I'll be revising Cog, though. That's sort of writing.
I may have just done write-in votes for some buffista books on the goodreads choice awards. That counts as NaNo, right?
Works for me; Ima count whatever I write for sstory or blogs as NaNoWriMo stuff -- I R REBEL.
I just want to get more writing in.
The idea is a nice one, but the vibe of Nano("Great job!" Group hug!) brings out all the Larry David in me."No hugging, no learning" I've got a project, though. Guess I'll put one foot in front of the other... so to speak.
Yeah, it's very "OMG, words! AWESOME!" but I need to make words appear, so...ok.
Buffistas are more reliable betas; you guys are all, Um, no. X is good, but Y is shitetastic. Try again!
Which is what a writer needs to improve a work. All positive feedback, all the time is bullshit, and not helpful.
