Double-checking my contract does reveal that my publisher is the one who handles translation sales. My agent was also a bit surprised, and has emailed my editor for more exciting details.
Tonight, I get to do some research and write up a few paragraphs explaining why a German translation deal for GCS is a REALLY GOOD IDEA. (My agent says publishers love being given that sort of information, and that numbers are especially good.)

OMG, I'm right there with you. I'm literally doing my synopsis of Cog right now. I'm pretty sure the first pass will be a fail, but getting that first attempt done will hopefully break the ice.
