I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That cover is beautiful, Amy.

I'm in chapter 6 of Cog now and I've got just about 11,000 words, it's moving along well. The problem is that I'm enjoying working on Cog so much that I haven't been doing any more query letters.

I'm going to have to make myself do one at some point. I've got to decide between the old pitch and the new pitch though. The old pitch has the advantage of already being written.

I just sent my agent the proposal and 24K word sample for the YA thing I've been working on. I feel a little dizzy.

Yay, Jilli! Breathe and have some chocolate. It's a proven restorative.

Awesome doings Jilli! I second the chocolate vote. Or... you know, cupcakes? Can't wait to read more Jillibooks.
