Nope, never even heard of it.

A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I don't write drafts. I'm a horrendous perfectionist - a sentence or paragraph has to be perfect before I'll move on. This is not so good for my writing process, and I definitely need to work on it.
Roger Zelazny is as a god and I adore nearly everything he ever wrote. But you have to like flights of poetic language that aren't very linear at times.
Zelazny did get away from me a few times but I love Doorways in the Sand.
I have three copies of the entire Amber series--both of them--finally getting hold of the Great Book of Amber so I don't have to go "Where the hell is Vol. 4!" ever again.
Unfortunately my Great Book of Amber fell apart from reading too many times.
As much as I love the Amber series, This Immortal will always hold the place of honor in my heart. Although, I ♥ all his stories.
My favorite Zelazny is Lord of Light. But thick trade sized paper backs apparently wear out faster than slim whatever you call the size they sell in supermarkets.
Lord of Light rocks. Madwand is very good, and Road Signs. Zelazny had such a cool, twisted brain.
Ok, so Barb, I reread Dorian. And this is a fairly significant departure from what you`ve been talking about. But if you wanted to do a genderswitch, the modern day corrolary I see is a statement on eating disorder. The way the mirror lies with its version of you, and how your own beauty and character can suffer for its grasp. Not a morality tale; you`d have to be super careful about how you handled it, but it could be done with or without supernatural at all.
