Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

'Life of the Party'

The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?

A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.

Our wings are not tired.

It would be nice to have an area similar to those left side yellow box areas for Links and Filk. On the page could be links to writer web sites and/or Amazon links to titles. Just thinking on paper here since any page would have to be created and maintained by our beloved stompies.

eta: perhaps even Buffistas!Create because their might be some sculptors and musicians that could be included. Again, just tossing out ideas.

'Til we dance away...

This is probably a dumb question but does it matter to the writers where I buy my books? I bought Vampire People at B & N because I was impatient but is it better to buy through Amazon or someplace else? I'm not meaning our affiliate money, I mean for writerly benefit.

Because books.

Nope, it doesn't matter, Sassy. Nice of you to ask, though!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

What, do you guys need me to prime the pump every week?

Double Date

Another Saturday night and she was torn between two beautiful men, both with a brooding intensity in their soulful brown eyes that captured her attention and made time stand still around her. There was so little difference to choose from: not the clothes (they both liked suits), not the hair (a messy shock of brown, neither appeared to look in the mirror much), both guarding their hearts so closely. In their presence, she felt both cherished and protected. But only one made her feel brilliant.

She put down Angel, dropped the Doctor Who DVD in the tray and pushed play.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Back from the awards ceremony for the PNWA Literary Contest. I took second place in my category!

The winner and I happened to be sitting together, and we hit it off and will probably do some beta reading for each other. I also made some good contacts at the after party for the winners.

I don't think I've stopped smiling yet.

not your mom's socks.

Jesse - if there is an affiliate account, I think a page and/ or mini store is possible. Either on amazon or on another page.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Sail, that was perfect!

Congratulations, Susan!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."
