Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Totally not a surprise. It's a wonderful book.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay, Allyson! Congratulations.

Because books.

I talked to my new editor today! She ... sounds about twelve, but she's smart and funny and very enthusiastic.

And now I'm bouncy and unfocused and completely unable to concentrate on anything I'm supposed to be doing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Amy! It has been so nice to read so much happy news in here recently.

"what's left when you take biology and sociology out of the picture?" "An autistic hermaphodite." -Allyson

Yay Allyson! [sits on the Complete Lack of Surprise bench]

Looking forward to reading Sam for my daughter. She's kind of a bat-fan, so Sam'll be right up her alley.

Also, belated Yays for Barb and Amy!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

She ... sounds about twelve

Team Edward or Team Jacob?

I don't know if it's me getting older or if this is a thing with young women today, but I have that reaction to a lot of actually-adult-and-even-talking-about-serious-things female voices, lately.

Regardless - yay, enthusiasm!

Bwah! We actually bonded over our lack of Twilight love, for which I was truly grateful.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also, this is not a zombie *romance* in the traditional sense.

Heh. Amy, I just came across this review of Zombieland by a friend of mine, whose opening paragraph contains these lines:

Let's face it. Zombies are gross. I don't care how many teen zombie romance books you’ve read where the girl falls in love with one. Not going to happen. Zombies = gross.

...Exactly how many teen zombie romance books are there?
