I think with an anthology we wouldn't be looking for epic stories. Hee.
What kind of stories would we be looking for? Generally, anthologies have a theme.
On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

I don't think we'd need a theme. It could just be a collection of short fiction. Or, like, "original writing under fifteen thousand words" or something.

I also think it could take us a long time to consense on a theme. And if we did want to use one, it should be extremely broad -- like, "Buffistas Explore Darkness" not vampire stories, or even stories about goats, or what have you.
