writing question: I've got a character who's on a national broadcast, but is still more "Hey, it's that guy!" famous than crazy Britney famous. There's been an accident on his reality show...what would the media response look like?

Did someone die?
it would probably depend on the type of newsday/week it was, and how spectacular/tragic the accident was.
Lane Garrison dominated the news when he killed someone in a motor vehicle. If he had simply been in a car accident, I don't think he'd have had any headlines. He's what I'd consider a "that guy".
If it was caught on tape, it would be all over TMZ, smoking Gun, Perez, etc. right away and also on the TV news. No tape, it would get covered, but probably not quite as intensely.
Yes, someone has died. Okay, I just didn't want to create a disproportionate response.
I would think it would garner a little more attention if someone died. There would be lots of internet buzz, but a death would at least make the AP wire, you know?

Hey, it's Sunday.
I guess that means the bars prompt is now closed.
