I keep having to go through the files of previous chapters to look stuff up. It's slowing me down. But I'm at least a third of the way through that final chapter.

Oh, I always write in one continuous file. I'm way to lazy to merge them all later.
I just use a master document to tie them all together.
Fay by all means email me a copy if you wish. Profile addy is good. It may be few days till I get to it. Do you want only high level feedback or should I mention typos if I see them. (For someone who make so many friggin typos myself, I find myself surprisingly good at spotting them in others.)
So close now. I didn't manage to finish the rough draft this weekend, but I got about 7,000 words into the last chapter. Two or four scenes left depending out how you count them, so maybe another 2,000 - 3,000 words. Action always writes fast, and the last chapter is constant action.
I'll probably split the last chapter when I'm done with it. I've got a great spot for it to break. After the chapter a 1,000 word or so epilogue and rough draft will be complete.
178,000 words. Rough draft done.
Whoot! Congratulations, Gud!
Congratulations!
Thanks! Now all I have to do is revise...178,000 words.
