"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, Barb! I love it! A good agent makes a world of difference. Best of luck to you in your new relationship.

And yay, Gud! Yay for continuity and almost-done-ness.

Always Anti-fascist!

I am finding myself super-uncomfortable watching Billy Walsh on Entourage...he's like K-Fucked made flesh. "I'm great...no, I'm shit." No, I'm so fucking great that you're an ass if you don't love it. It's not fit to be seen...it belongs in Cannes. I'm afraid that every writer has a Walsh in us. Ugly but true. We're not all that mental nor that pretentious, and if it were true that sex killed creativity I'd be the best writer in the fucking world, but that's a rant for another day.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Barb, that is great news.

Awesome Barb!

I'm now about 2000 words into Chapter 23. Hopefully that one will be in the bag by the end of the weekend. I think I should be done with my rough draft sometime toward the end of July. I'm shooting for Thanksgiving to be done with the book.

Oh, Barb, that's very cool about the agent thing...just because I am pondering writer-crazy doesn't mean I don't care about that...

“Not dead yet!”

Pondering writer-crazy is perfectly valid, babe. And I was just in shouting from the rooftops, slightly inebriated mode last night.

sounds fitting. And like "I'll take Shit I Never Get To Do, for 200, Alex." Damn you, Doug Ellin, for putting our crazy writer-crap out on the street. I hate you, in the sense that you really need to, you know, hire me or something. I guess I shouldn't mention that in the pitch meeting, should I ever get one. I'm thinking not so much. Right?

Because books.

That's awesome, Barb! I didn't know you were still heading up to meet her!

I have started a blog about writing my novel. I think I should be able to update it frequently.

Word has turned critic...I found my story in the Recycle bin today and have no idea how it happened. Luckily I looked in there.
