Susan, have you checked with your university hr/benefits people?

Thanks! This worked. At least, they gave me the number for the Grad Students Benefits office, and the nice woman who answered the phone there forwarded me a list of short-term plans they give to their students.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Actually, since I stayed late yesterday, my boss has said I can leave an hour or so early ... and I'm thinking about it.

Now if it was a giant robot dinosaur Stephen Colbert, I'd have to road trip.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I want lemon cookies!!

I also want a giant robot dinosaur Stephen Colbert at my street party. Preferably with a giant rainstick. (Loved that bit on last night's ep, where he kept showing "friend of the show" astronaut water scenes when he has a broken toilet on the ISS.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Thanks! This worked.

I'm glad to hear it. IME, those people Know Things.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I almost had a burrito for lunch! And then I didn't.

ION, man, I feel like ass. Stupid cold. I may end up bailing on my dinner plans, even though they are taking place one (1) block from my apartment.

I totally just gave my minion the afternoon off. I did so from the beach, but she doesn't have to know that.
