Though, it does make me wonder what SORT of freaks? I mean, what kind of "freaks" did they want to see/were they talking about?
Yeah, I don't know about that. One was arguing for downtown -- Fulton Street, Broadway/Lafayette, and the other one was saying uptown, 149th St.
It was so nice out today that we decided to go play in the backyard!
(And instantly regretted having only the camera phone down there with which to record the adorableness on display. Oh well, next time!)
Did anybody watch Recount? If so where would they be talking about it?
I didn't see it but I'd guess it'd fit in Premium Cable if not here in Natter.
I lived it, but don't have HBO to suffer it again. Yes, still bitter.
The movie made me cry. 20,000 disenfranchised voters? That's a travesty.
But now, I'm watching the "Real Story" feature and do you know who wrote it, or at least was one of the writers? DANNY STRONG! Awesome!
I have dismantled the futon frame and carted it out to the dumpster. I debated throwing the pieces off the balcony, but figured it might scare the shit out of my very nice downstairs neighbors. So I made 3 trips down the stair instead.
I think I pulled a muscle in my butt.
I think I'm going to enlist T's help in assembling the new one.
Timelies all!
Balticon was lots of fun. Got to hang out with fun people, and stayed up waaay too late. Good con.
I think I pulled a muscle in my butt.
I'm sure that if you asked nicely, someone would massage it for you.
There is major drama surrounding that movie that I can't really talk about as it's related to my job, but on a personal (not professional) level, I'm really glad it got made in spite of said drama. Even if it was un-fucking-believably depressing having to watch that election happen all over again.
