We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I told myself I would not go to see Indy until I'd finished doing this job application. But I'm so bored and the application doesn't use the same questions as last year, so I have to actually write a new essay and I don't WANNA.

Someone tell me I can go see Indy and finish this later?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

going to see Indy sounds like more fun.

I hate essay questions on job applications-- I now have stack that I pull bits and pieces from, because the questions are never exactly the same, but related.

T is here ( ukulele/ wine guy for those that aren't Consuela) and he and Matt are playing with the new sander. It is not being used on our floor boards because there is a chance of rain.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You should wait and see Indy with me, Consuela!

I also uut in $39 of gas into my tank today.

And then I went and spent a whole helluva lot of money on a new futon and frame. You will find it interesting to note that I did not purchase the cheapest models, for once. I got a frame I like, in a stain I like and the futon that was 2nd place in most comfy, but not the cheapest (first place was $600. Uh, no.) Delivery will be sometime in the next week. I did opt to set it up myself, which I may regret, but that's cheapo me rising back to the surface.

Now I have to get over throwing out the old mattress. Old frame is broken, but the mattress is just all flat and deformed. But I have no place to keep it, and why would I? Goodwill doesn't take used bed here, so that's out. It has to go as soon as the new one arrives, and that's a small window. So dumpster it may be.

Baptism tomorrow!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Someone tell me I can go see Indy and finish this later?

I'm seeing Indy tonight at Grand Lake! You should finish your job application and come.

OK, so I had a check just returned to me. I can see why. It looks like it was in a tug of war between two dogs. And only half survived. WTH?

Did you mail it, sarameg? I've had that happened to a check in the mail before.

Oh yeah, it was mailed. I'm guessing a mail sorter ate it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

God, you guys, The Wire is so fucking good. I do think it's funny that the one kid is going to be on the new 90210 -- he's supposed to be adopted from a bad situation, so it's kind of nice to think about Michael getting taken out to the Bev.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We have an operational stoop, though they still have to finish some of the details when they come back on Tuesday -- but you can get to my front door again, which just rocks.

Picture here, for those who like to see details!
