New brake pads and windshield wipers should be cheap, tiggy. Like, $100. If they're charging more than that, take it somewhere else, unless it's more than just the pads (was it squealing? Do you need new rotors or calipers too?)

That sounds creepy, Jesse...but I wish there were a deli around here where I could get a good bagel or egg sandwich!

I officially know I am old when I am *proud* of myself for sleeping until 10AM. LAME.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I slept until 9:30, which almost never happens to me. Dee-lish. I shall be well-rested for Indy tonight!

yeah, but add that to the other crap they've done and it's probably going to be more than i want. the diagnostic to see what was wrong with the air conditioning alone was going to be $125. *sigh*

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

The ceiling of the our usual cafe fell in last night - we had to go to panera for breakfast. Which was ok, but they don't know my coffee order, so I had to think.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Friday I found the last gas station in the area selling gas for $3.71. Someday, I'm going to look back on this day and sigh for bygone times.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I just filled up for $39 and change. Not because of low gas prices, mind you; because my gas tank is only 10 gallons. And believe me, I'm thankful my gas tank is only 10 gallons. Sheesh!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Just back from the walk-in clinic. I had diarrhea all night. Was afraid it might be salmonella. But it's just garden variety food poisoning (again) so I've been told to eat white rice, stay hydrated and tough it out for the next 12 hours. Wheee.

Did I mention I'm driving Emmett down to his stay-in-a-hotel baseball tournament in two hours?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Well, I was about to make a post complaining about the bus and why skeevy men have to hit on me and why, for the love of god can I not just be rude!?!?!

But now I am just thinking about the money I saved.

Seriously, why do skeevy dudes think all they have to do is compliment a fat chick and we will fall into their arms?!?
