Well, personally, I kind of want to slay the dragon.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Top 100, barely...

For a Monday, today is OK.

I don't like dried fruit of any kind in dessert applications, but tend to enjoy them as sweet notes in savory dishes, like chicken with dried apricots, rice dishes that have raisins in them, etc.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

WANT In a cookie.

You can get these from the Frog Hollow store in the Ferry Building.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sigh.

Only posting in hopes of getting into top hundred. Must return to HELLISH grading. sigh.

NO was fun. Conference was less fun but rather successful all in all. Sy Hersh was brilliant.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

The one where, while the band was hiding behind Bob's riser so Gerard could emote by himself on stage during "Cancer", Mikeyway stuck two cigarettes up his nostrils and smoked them, which nearly broke Frank because he was laughing so hard.

LOVE.

I, personally, enjoyed Dewee's shenaniginating of playing "Sweet Caroline" before "Cancer", with Gerard singing the lead and Frank sneaking back out onstage to sing the "ba ba ba" part. Not a good lead-in, but hilarious nontheless.

I am so tired. I'm sure this hellish monday wasn't helped by waking up at 2:45 when the power went off (guess it was too quiet) and doing the stupid racing thoughts thing (over my alarms...even though 2 are battery only, and the other is battery-backed up) until it came back on 30 minutes later. And then I had to calm down to sleep.

But today would have been long anyway.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I make a cookie that's white chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and dried cherries. It's a good fucking cookie.

Ooh, I want that one!

I actually asked the guest of honor what she prefers, and she said chocolate. So.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Anyone want to play "which Buffista said that?"

I personally think Qor'Toth is a Denny's perpetually at around 2:30 a.m.

Only because I used to hang out at Denny's at 2:30 AM. And I've been thinking the same thing.

Chocolate chips in oatmeal cookies are problematic in that they destroy the illusion of virtue.

Always Anti-fascist!

Cool, Trudy. That's awesome. Babe. Would be so jealous if shrift met Idris Elba at Walgreen's. But also accepting, cause she's shrift, and therefore, fills the space in fandom that String does in the Barksdale family. (hopefully with a better ending, of course)
