What kind of wine goes with an Artichoke/Chicken Pizza?
Beer.
I totally think everyone should have a scooter... I'm saving up for one next year.
Somebody want to buy mine? It's adorable and fun and beautiful and...it's made me realize, I don't actually go anywhere. I do all my errands on my way home from work, and if I'm going somewhere later, I'm probably drinking. It's so fast and so much fun and so convenient and I totally recommend them for someone who is not me. But me personally, I don't get so much use out of it.
Good Call Tamara. Just different called different things in different places. That's what I went with.
I have plenty of Beer too... I think I'm in a wine mood today though, have like 11 bottles that I've been meaning to get into, but haven't really had the occasion.
I know from Top Chef that artichokes are hard to pair with wine but I'd go for the Pinot Gris/Grigio too.
I had delicious beer, hung out with my friends' newborn (adorable!), had more beer, and ate tiny hamburgers and a salad with a really delicious fried chicken strip. It was Too Much but also perfect and I think I'm going to bed now.
The thing about vespas, at least old ones, is they pollute awful.
Not the new ones. And you do get close to 100 mph. Safety wise - in a lot of ways they're safer than bicycles, because you're following car traffic rules. So you're taking up a car space in the traffic lane, not riding on the edge alongside. (Plus of course, with a scooter, you're not on the freeway.)

You definitely want beer with artichokes. Wine is wasted money because for whatever the chemical reason, artichokes just strip the taste out of wine. (OTOH, you could go with cheap wine and blame it on that.)

Seriously, well I guess I'll have to re-cork the bottle until later.
I just got a call on the batphone with this urgent question:
If you are having a fancy multi-course meal (that you got at a charity auction) and the restaurant manager is the one serving you... do you still tip?
If yes, should you you tip the value of the meal, rather than what you paid (which was less)?
I said yes and yes. Thoughts?
So I'm watching the Lost Room (the sci fi miniseries) did anybody see this. It's not really grabbing me yet.
