As oddly charmed as I was by LA (even the stereotypical overheard of modelish types in a fancy pants place, talking about what their therapists said about their narcissism!) the fact you are surprised by thunderstorms makes me have to cross it off my list of places. As if real estate didn't already.
I totally get this. It's the only thing (besides real estate prices and evil traffic) that I really don't like about LA. I have a similar love of storms, and I miss them here.
sara - did I mention here that I had a dream that my folks moved back to LC - then you and I did too! I woke up laughing, ok not really, but I did laugh once awake.
Oh lord, I can't imagine moving back to LC! I love it, am protective of it, champion it and yet...no way! Even if I could buy a house in Mesilla or near Pioneer Park. Uh uh.
Maybe in 30 years.
no joke. although if that is where they want to be, I could go there in less than 30 years. maybe 15.
oh! In 30 years, I'd be ready to go to Las Cruces!
Also, again with teh
gays
on GA! There was
Hahn kissing Callie on the elevator.
Sigh. Stop overcompensating!
Oh my, those babies! Such beautiful babies Kat! I miss that age.
WRT the self-feeding: how does Noah do with Cheerios or wee cubes of banana, etc? I found that it was easier to get my kids to feed themselves foods they could grab.
He chows down on cheerios and the like. By the handful.
Yeah, then he's got it, lori. I found using spoons took a bit longer, okay MUCH longer in Isaac's case because he really was content to just use his hands instead. (ICK!) (PS--he still likes to use his hands instead).
Watching GA (well, I have to have something on while I optimise SQL) and what McDreamy and Meredith did
with the pimping (SO NOT YENTA) is teh nast. How old are those kids, anyway? I'm assuming they're legal, but it's just sketch.
