Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Michelle Trachtenberg (? Am I even close?) hair toss is something to be reckoned with.

Now I currently have a huge pang of 8uffy nostalgia. Is that healthy? It's been more than a little while.

Oh good, the PBS special on depression is talking about mental health parity. I was afraid they wouldn't and my cousin has been an activist on that subject, and without her I don't know if I would be really as aware of the issue today, and I like to consider myself aware, you know?

Typo, I guess this guy thought he had a magic wand. Sure--that and credentials and you can have a shot. Just don't talk down to me, ass.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's ungodly windy right now. Like knocked the power out for a minute or two windy.

I heard about that wind in Santa Barbara earlier today!

You were in SB?

I have to pit cherries but have no pitter. People recommended I try a paper clip or bobby pin or a straw. Any thoughts?

No, I was on a phone meeting with someone in Santa Barbara. She was afraid her line was going to get knocked out.

A straw sounds OK for pitting, but when I'm pitting olives (I don't do many cherries), I usually just pull them apart with my fingers.

MH Parity:

requires that annual or lifetime dollar limits on mental health benefits be no lower than any such dollar limits for medical and surgical benefits offered by a group health plan or health insurance issuer offering coverage in connection with a group health plan.

Basically, from what I understand, a nondiscrimination clause wrt mental health coverage (as compared to standard medical insurance.) My cousin's mother had to turn down lucrative jobs because their mh benefits wouldn't cover her daughter or if they did, they didn't have continuity clauses so her daughter's bipolar would be considered preexisting and not covered. Which was undoable at the time. And lord knows Marley has to consider it in every job she takes.
