I want to go to Meara's and have cobbler.

I am almost almost almost done with the Dread Syllabus. It's way too long but not intended for students, but the CB. Sigh.

I'm starved.

Mmmmmm... cobbler is my favorite thing in the world. Just got my new apartment without a biohazard of a roommate, I can start cooking again!

Anyone have any suggestions, I'm a bit out of practice and want to try something new.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Welcome, Victor.

So sad about Senator Kennedy.

Lunch will be a slice of pizza and salad at the cafe on the lot.

hip deep in pie

Deli tray sandwiches from a lunch and learn that I was at, which are now giving me serious indigestion. When will I learn to avoid the luncheon meats?

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I got salad bar for the second day in a row. I wish today was the cafeteria's monthly Indian Food day, what with all this talk of chicken tikki masala (which they actually do a decent version of, as well as really yummy naan).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a turkey sandwich for lunch, in case anyone was wondering.

ION, I love my new boss! She just totally approved something that my old boss hemmed and hawed over forEVER, giving me some line about how the Big Boss wouldn't go for it. Big Boss doesn't have to be asked ahead of time! We can make this work! Yay.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Damn, Teddy. That makes me sad.

I love this picture of Angelina Jolie in Cannes. It's not as glam as the one where she is in a green dress, nor as hot as this one. But she looks beautifully pregnant even though she also looks imperfect.

Yay! She does look great in that pantsuit. Which, how??? It's a pantsuit! Sigh.
