See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I also hate bumper cars, except when I can drive around without being bumped. Being bumped makes me angry, and then I can't enjoy the little car!

This is so very random and perfectly stated and utterly Sophia and I love it, and Sophia, SO MUCH. That is all.

Someone seems to be unclear on the concept. The whole point of bumper cars is to bump back at all the people who have bumped you, literally and otherwise.

I go to a lot of concerts, and my main problem is that wherever I stand becomes the aisle. People! There are 20 ways to get to the front. Why do you all have to push by me?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Random news o' the day: Divers Find Combined Gold Toothpick, Earwax Spoon

KEY WEST, Fla. — Experts found a tiny gold combined toothpick and earwax spoon, believed to be more than 385 years old, during the search for a shipwrecked Spanish galleon off the Florida Keys.

The late 16th or early 17th century grooming tool, which weighs only about an ounce, was located Sunday by Blue Water Ventures diver Chris Rackley as he searched the area about 22 feet below the surface and 40 miles west of Key West. He says its value could exceed $100,000.

Ann, that's a ferret.

BTW, has Trek ever had a gay character?

As others have mentioned, Star Trek has played with the concept but never had a character. Though I give Babylon 5 the award for "best playing with the concept" -- on one ep whose name escapes me, two male characters (whose names also escape me) went undercover to spy on Earth's plans. Their cover -- a honeymooning just-married couple.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Thank you. People who get pissy about being bumped while they are driving bumper cars are a bit of a peeve of mine.

Getting blocked into a "corner" by your friends so you can't move IS dickish behavior, but bumping is what ride is for.

I. Am. Such. A. Dork.

I'm just glad you beat me to posting about Lt. Hawk, so that you got to be the dork instead of me.

Oh, wait...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Well, see, I actually don't want to be mad about it. Which is why I avoid the bumper cars and ride on those old-fashioned cars on a track, which are much more fun to me. But sometimes, when you are a teenager, people push you into things against your better judgement!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

My brother has high iron in his blood and had to go get "bled" regularly for a while. Now it is less often, but we joked alot about the bloodletting there for a while.

This is me! Minus the bloodletting yet.

Oi. I can't find the info on renewing my credential which expires in July 09. It's my understanding that I no longer need to submit professional development hours. But I can't find the name of the Assembly Bill that says that.

Why yes. I am procrastinating.

But I had a potato ball from Porto's for breakfast. Nom nom nom.

My poor new coworker accidentally sent me a personal email meant for someone else (clearly, it was in another language.) I let him know, but I KNOW it will embarrass him.

Ah, the dangers of autofill...
