Man, you just get darker and darker, and the weird thing is, your aura? Beige.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw -- George Takei is getting married, too! [link]

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Go, Captain Sulu!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Go, Captain Sulu!

There might be a "...where no man has gone before" joke in there....

BTW, has Trek ever had a gay character? I vaguely remember gay rights activists complaining about the lack of gay characters when ST:TNG was on.

Google thinks I'm a spammer. I'm not amused.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

OK, this made me a bit teary! They've been together for 21 years! It must mean so much to them, and to other non-celebrity couples that just thinking about it makes me so happy for them!

ETA Also I can't escape the Ashlee Simpsom/Pete Wentz wedding news-- it was the next story on the George Takei link. I have heard there is kerfuffling about the marriage on the internets with the fans, and I am trying to avoid it like a big avoidy thing.

Yeah -- my aunts were together for like 25 years before they got married in MA a few years back. It was GREAT.

The first was supposed to be Lt. Hawk from First Contact, but most of his scenes were cut so his orientation never got mentioned.

Who was Lt. Hawk?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The first was supposed to be Lt. Hawk from First Contact, but most of his scenes were cut so his orientation never got mentioned.

Oh, Neil McDonough's character? Hottie.

They also copped out a couple of times on NextGen and DS9 with aliens of ambiguous or changeable sex.

(Though Garak, really. I mean, come on.)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

And of course, Dax on DS9. I mean, Dax was male, Jadzia was female. Interesting . . .
