....who leaves for lunch at 10:45??? I mean, are you getting to work at 6AM or something? I don't get it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

appt.

I have a 2 hour lunch tomorrow - travel/appt/travel back. Granted I am not a receptionist or I would have someone cover for me. I get in 45 min. early and will leave 20 min. late to counteract. I leave it unexplained thus far though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm back on wheat!

Not all the wheat in the world, all at once, but I can have wheat again. I think I'm having a burger for lunch, then.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

very nice, Allyson.

so I was listening to NPR. The topic : What is wrong with republican party and how can we fix it.

1st caller: The republican party used to support the vets - now they are cutting the budget ( even though we have more vets) , suicide rates are up, etc.

answer( former rep. congressman, now lobbyist) : sometimes you have to cut popular programs and BTW, that isn't really a problem, the current new just make things look worse than they are , things are just the same.

2nd caller: I am a prolife guy - not just anti abortion but also anti death penalty and anti unjust war. I'd like an honest republican to admit Iraq was a mistake.

answer: Well, maybe last summer, but things are better and moving forward, so the war is no longer an issue.

umm, telling registered party members that what they think is a problem is not really a problem, the number one problem .

Oh, only a lame burger from the place downstairs. Bought an hour ago, about half finished as I work through lunch trying to reconcile conflicting data. I spent the morning running around on medical stuff, so I'm trying to be an extra good girl. But time never flies when I do that.

Still, with the data reconciliation it does look like we're right. That's some consolation. Question is, do I call out the people who are wrong, and if so, how wide an audience?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Question is, do I call out the people who are wrong, and if so, how wide an audience?

I would hire a clown to come tell them. (Balloon animals might make them feel better.)
