All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

She is. Reading up it sounds like this is the procedure she had:

For tachycardia caused by a re-entrant pathway, radiofrequency ablation is probably the best option. This is a low risk procedure that uses a catheter inside the heart to deliver radiofrequency energy to locate and destroy the abnormal electrical pathways. Ablation has been shown to be highly effective: up to 99% effective in eliminating AVNRT. Similar high rates of success are achieved with radiofrequency ablation in eliminating AVRT and typical Atrial Flutter.

She's not supposed to lift anything heavy for a few days, but she doesn't have any other restrictions and she no longer has to take the medication she was on to control the SVT.

Because books.

Yikes, aurelia!

I'm sitting with Perkins, though. That's happened in my family (in the general sense) way more than once.

hip deep in pie

Jeez Aurelia, I hope your mom is feeling better.

All the running aorund I had to do to get ready to garden almost made me too tired to garden this afternoon. As it was, I didn't get nearly as much done as I liked. Digging up sod to make beds is terrible work.

found a pair of underpants in my hedge.

So this is not like Kat's "my underwear in my neighbor's house" thing...these were not YOUR underwear? These were not clean underwear? So sorry.

I went to Portland! I came back! It is hot. I am tired. And have a headache. There is a good "spin" to the story. It involves hotness. Getting down and dirty. Partying til the party was over. Partying til we had to take it outside. Seeing titties. Standing up to peer pressure. Droppping down and getting our Portland on. Etc etc.

The real story is much less interesting, sadly, but we liked our spin on it. The heat is making my headache annoying, though. Hrmph.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

found a pair of underpants in my hedge.

Could've been a bustle in your hedgerow, which we all know is alarming.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, aurelia. I hope she's OK.

Aurelia, sheesh! Your mom sounds like my dad (who also has a habit of telling me about major medical stuff after it's happened). Glad she's okay.

Random double post. I shall use it to comment on how incredibly cute Buffista babies are.
