So much drama outside my building! The whole street is blocked off by trucks, which are lifting stuff onto the roof of the building next door. I almost couldn't come back in!
Natter 58: Let's call Venezuela!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Timelies all!
I dunno about that theory. My eyesight is still 20/20, and I'm not allergic to anything as far as I know.(Even went to an allergist a few years back and nothing came up positive on the skin test. Diagnosis: Non-allergic rhinitis. Lovely.)
Saw "Iron Man" last night, and it was fun. Tonight we're having dinner with G's cousin and the cousin's wife before they move to Seattle.
Jesse, to your street? That's crazy.
They held off on lifting the big whatever it was so I could run into my building from across the street.
HA. and now you're trapped inside!
I sure hope not! I have plans! Although I guess I'm going to have to go the long way around to get to the subway station.
I should be seeing Iron Man tonight! My first movie-going in a couple of months.
I did give up a lot for school, didn't I?
I also have both allergies and glasses.
I've got to do laundry today. Lots of laundry. Four loads, at least. (This is my weekend of just getting all the laundry done. It's been sitting there for way too long, so today, I'm just washing everything from all the hampers, so that I can start again wtih a clean slate.) And even though my building has four washers and four dryers, the dryers are stacked so I can only reach two of them, so I'm going to be running up and down to the laundry room pretty much all day.
Dylan in the park pictures are great! Yay swings!
Noah's not toddling yet, but he is finally crawling. Zing!
Crawling Noah! Mobile baby!
I've got a bunch of clothes to donate. All in pretty good condition, barely worn, mostly stuff where I tried something on in one color and then bought it in a bunch of colors and then realizes that one of the other colors was just cut totally wrong. So mostly, t-shirts that are labeled large but fit more like medium. I'm trying to find somewhere to donate them. And I can't find anywhere to donate that I can get to without either a car or several metro transfers.
This was much easier in the suburbs. Put everything in big yellow bags on the porch, call the Vietnam Vets organization, and they'd come pick it up. I don't know how to donate stuff in DC.
