Mine was very much the little girl's version of the dress, but it was a dramatic fabric that I remember the most, and a distinctive cut.
The bit where they matched me to my sister--now that was abusive.
Timelies all !
I am being loved on by a cat. She has draped herself over my arm.
I was having a hard time pasting on my phone, but I thought of this because of Jesse's eye doctor comment.
Does everyone's eye doctor say "Which looks clearer, sharper. One or two" I wonder if they all have to practice it together in eye doctor school?
One of our cats has been wary of the new dog and has been avoiding him like the plague. J called me to tell me that the wary cat was on his lap and the dog came over and smelled him.` This worked out well for both parties and it resulted in the dog licking the cat on the head--and the cat LIKED it.
Scrappy, that's freaky! Good, but freaky.
When my parents had a dog, one of their cats constantly sported dogspit fur gel.
Grr, ahrg. Got my lease renewal info. If I were to go month to month, it'd be an extra $300. PER MONTH. Which is insane. I don't know. I may see if I can negotiate a shorter term lease.
I'm home after my not-quite 4-hour work day. No cupcakes, but I did buy two new pairs of shoes. Dear DSW, I love you.
Apparently, tofu makes you gay.
Suddenly Christian Bale's vegetarianism shifts from an interesting fact to an encouraging predictive sign.
Do I want the white bookcase, desk, and file cabinet, or the black, for my apartment?
White would arguably go better with your trim and curtains Tom, but it's a bitch in that it shows every nick, scratch, and speck of dust. Black furniture is a pretty safe choice for most any decor and it's relatively low-maintenance.
I just boxed up some books to send to Powell's. They've really got a great system for buying used books online -- you go to their website and put in the ISBNs, they tell you which books they'll take and give an estimate of how much they'll give for them, and if you accept the estimate, then they give you a printable shipping label, so you just box up the books and bring them to a post office with the label. You get the money in store credit, so it's exchanging books you don't want for books you do want. Plus, they gave me more for a math textbook than the campus bookstore would.

I might have to use this. I put a bunch a stuff on Amazon and a few things sold really quickly (and not what I thought would), but the rest has just been sitting there.
