"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Phelps protesting Jenna Bush's wedding is definitely high on the WTF?-meter, but at least at a wedding (or other celebratory event) the hosts and attendees can laugh off the crazy protesters and retreat to private property. Much better than those wastes of skin adding to the pain of grief-stricken mourners at a funeral, IMHO.

Plus, I get the fun daydream of a Texan Bridezilla making sure that their next protest is held in Guantanamo bay.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's not even noon yet.

That is just so deeply wrong.

Ann, that's a ferret.

From tommyrot's link:

Only 50% of users are between 18 and 49 -- which means a large chunk of the under-18 set is picking up lolspeak when they should be learning English.

I'll accept that you should know the rules of a language before you start playing with or intentionally mangling the language. But do the writers really think that nobody over age 49 enjoys lolcats?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aww, that sucks, Jesse. Is it that you need the candidates to come back in for a second round?

Yep. I told her she was a "strong" candidate, but I don't want to make any promises -- what if my higher-ups strongly prefer the other finalist I bring back? Then I've made this girl turn down another job and still not get this one. That would suck.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I suspect they think that nobody over age 49 is on teh internets.

Ann, that's a ferret.

And on the Jenna-wedding:

Dress, lovely. Groom, not unattractive. Protesters, nice added touch of amusing irony.

Wedding gift of father of the bride -- WTF? Starting with, it's staying at his home instead of going to the home of the newlyweds?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yeah but -- they probably didn't want a giant stone cross looming over them in their townhouse, y'know? It probably makes starting out as newlyweds feel a little Spanish Inquisition.

La Tep has an excellent point -- it may very well have been a case of "Oh, ... THANKS, Dad! I'd just hate to take it away when it looks so perfect in this spot right here!"

Whoo-hoo! The Chicago Shakespeare Theater has won this year's regional Tony!! That makes Chicago the first city to win four regional awards (Steppenwolf Theatre in 1985, Goodman Theatre in 1992, and Victory Gardens Theater won in 2001).
