Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I called my mom and sent her an e-card with a note that a real card was on the way -- I didn't totally flake out, I'm just a little late. My dad and sister took her out to brunch.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

French request!

I need this bit of dialogue translated:

"What was that?"

"Nothing! Pierre just tripped and fell."

Thanks!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I need this bit of dialogue translated:

"Zut alors! Le Scarlet Pimpernel!"
"Il est toujours dans the last place you look."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I called home, nothing special. Turns out she's leaving town today so they're not doing anything for her until next weekend. I'm just glad to have remembered. I had such a panic last Sunday when I thought I'd missed it.

Looks like there's one more DayBreak episode. Thank dog. At least one more week of the goodness. I'm more ticked at that cancellation with every week's turn.

Can someone tell me if this [link] is reachable?

I just get a blank page.

Are we sure emoticons are a bad thing? Because I really need to stick my tongue out at billytea.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too.

Thanks, Hil. It's hard to tell when my ISP is messing with me and when there's a legitimate problem. I doubt the domain is non-existent, but if it's just registering a blank page the potentially painful phone conversation isn't well omened.

Me, I think emoticons are a viable method of human communication. You can be just as idiotic without them. And sometimes gently expressive with them.

If I had a nickel for every time someone said that, I still couldn't use them in this country.
