I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita - can you grab Colin for Ethiopian tonight?

I have to admit I hadn't even asked if he was free since I cannot imagine actually doing anything after work tonight. The ER visit Tuesday didn't gain me near as much as I'd hoped. I doubt he's not busy.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

They'll keep having kids "as long as God wills it" or until they run out of names starting with J...

They already have run out of names. They've got a Jinger! Also, they've got girls named Jana, Joy-Anna, and Johanna, plus boys named Jeremiah and Jedediah, and Joseph and Josiah.

I'm judging HARD. Freaking adopt some kids if you want that many! Holy crap! How does she still have a functioning uterus?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

You know what I hate-- When someone is waiting for something from me, and I am running late with it, and they email me to tell me they are looking forward to recieving it! I see through their devious plan to sound nice-- they just want me to DO IT NOW!! But, it is for my second job, and my first job is crazy like a crazy thing (with my boss being eliminated, me taking over he stuff, or evil BigBoss in China, our old assistant director, who is Big Bosses pet crying and freaking out that my boss now hates her even though she didn't do anything) and I can't deal with my second job while I am not getting paid!

I saw on one of their TV specials that she had a c-section on kid 14 or so, and then had a lot of trouble finding a doctor willing to let her try vaginal birth on the next kid.

Ann, that's a ferret.

From Dana's link:

"We've had three in January, three in December. Those two months are a busy time for us," she said, laughing.

It isn't the busy in December and January. It's the busy in March and April.

And in a world where Jermaine Jackson can name his child Jermajesty, I doubt the Duggars will ever run out of J names.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It makes my hoo-hah hurt just thinking about it.

Me too. I mean, isn't that many children the reason so many women in the 'olden days" had uterine prolapses?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Isn't 41 getting pretty high risk?

Yes, pretty high. Down Syndrome is just the first/most obvious risk at that age.

They already have run out of names. They've got a Jinger! Also, they've got girls named Jana, Joy-Anna, and Johanna,

I think their real problem is that they have no imagination. Not a Jaden or a Jermajesty in the bunch! No Jam, no Juggle, no Juwannaman, no Jerriffic. Really, there are hordes and hordes of J-names yet to be invented! The girl-name imagination-shortage is particularly pressing (I presume they're the kind of Christian that thinks girl-names all have to end with an A), but Jelicia is still available!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The other Duggar children, in between Joshua and Jennifer, are Jana, 18; John-David, 18; Jill, 16; Jessa, 15; Jinger, 14; Joseph, 13; Josiah, 11; Joy-Anna, 10; Jeremiah, 9; Jedidiah, 9; Jason, 7; James, 6; Justin, 5; Jackson, 3; and Johannah, 2.

They don't have a Jessica or a Jerome--I don't know what was up with Jinger or near duplicating with Joy-Anna and Johanna. Jacqueline. Jacob. Jane. Janice. Janet. Jasmine. Jarret. Jean. Jeanine. Jeffrey.

They're seriously not trying.
