I'll probably bake a cake for Mother's day, more for the kids than anyone else.
Gud, you are made of win.
Plans for the weekend: Coffee and/or brunch with one or possibly two Buffistas Saturday, followed by laundry. If Hec takes Emmett out someplace, I may try to watch some more SPN S1 (Emmett has declared it Too Scary For Him, so I save it for when he's away).
Sunday: Church, then ????. There's some kind of Mother's Day moms for peace event happening in the East Bay that my mom wants to go to, which I will probably opt for. There will be mimosas at Emmett's Little League game, but, since there's an entire summer of tournament league play ahead, I feel mildly baseball-fried and may opt out just this once.
Yay Tom! The brownstone tour sounds lovely, and you sound like a most excellent person to ramble around exploring NYC with.
Jesse - there is a freecycle swap thing in Astoria this weekend if you have stuff you are looking to unload. I can email you the info if you are interested.
and yeah, mac has a gift, I just don't know if there are post church plans, but I bet not, I bet Sat is the M Day brunch. Maybe I will convince mac to go to C Parka fter church and I can get in my springtime carousel ride (weather permitting).
ita - can you grab Colin for Ethiopian tonight?
GO TOM, you dating fool!
So what are people doing this weekend?

Sure, thanks. Actually, a trip to the Goodwill was sort of on my agenda for the weekend anyway, so we'll see what's more convenient.

Was there really any doubt?
They'll keep having kids "as long as God wills it" or until they run out of names starting with J...
