I'm not usually a big ice cream eater. I mean, I like it. But I'll have some, and put it back in the freezer, and it's fine. Not like cookies or cupcakes or brownies, where I'm sitting here going "There are cupcakes six steps away in the kitchen and they're calling my name..."
But right now there is chocolate peanut butter Haagen Dasz in my freezer. Calling my name. Aaaagh!
Oh! I just remembered. I saw ads for lemon and lime flavoured ice cubes. Totally not something I'd buy, but totally something I'd dedicate an ice tray or two to. I think that's on my list of freezer things for the summer of '08.
I'm liking the thought of frozen lemonade cubes, myself.
I've used a bag of the lime ice. It's much more subtle than you'd think.
This morning I'm reveling in the luxury of four WHOLE days in a row off -- the start of my last course is being delayed until Monday because they have to set up the classroom computers with the wiring and all. Otherwise we'd have had to show up this morning and go straight to it. (It's the Bataan Death March of collegiate-type institutions from what I've seen....)
Of course this means that I'm rattling around the house this morning, not knowing what to do....
Theo, go back to bed after having pancakes and curl up with a good book.
I'm debating whether or not I should go to yoga. Yes means 6 days in a row, but it also means that I get a workout today which I otherwise might miss. No means that I won't be late for work.
I'm in love with t-shirt! But $25 for a baby tee is too steep for me.
Woot. Fun new buffista map!
Huh. Style section of the NY times has an article about steampunk: [link]
