People comment all the time about my band being a "girl" band. Uh..yeah...except for the dude on guitar. It's irritating to me, even when I know the person saying it thinks it's something cool and makes them inclined to enjoy our show, because there's such a whiff of "ooh it's like monkeys driving cars" or something about the observation.

When I fired up the TV this morning it was sitting on a an infomercial (oh, the joyride a TiVo brings) for "Debt Cures They Don't Want You To Know About."
What's the deal with that? Raising your credit scores by 100+ points? Lowering your interest rates by 20 odd %. That stuff work? $29.95 with a money back guarantee? It all looks like major voodoo. And if it does work, why is there a Playboy Bunny on the panel of women being presented to?
