Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac just returned from the afternoon at his uncle's. he comes into the kitchen holding a giftbag tightly at the top so it has no chance of opening, "where can I hide this?" he asks. I suggest the drawers under his bed, but he says he has already tried. I suggest the toy box with all his legos and he says ok, but then informs me "you can't go in there! ok?".

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but then informs me "you can't go in there! ok?".

Did the bag wriggle and hop?

He's not so good with the sneaky, eh?

Because books.

I think maybe I'll leave Supes out of my examples. Huh.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm kind of Bats-obsessed these days.

Really? Isn't that like so three years ago?

Yeah, well, I never quite got the SPN or bandom memos, so -- Bats it is.

What's Tim (uh, the Robin one) been up to lately anyway?

Brooding. Missing his boyfriend Kon. The usual.

Amy, I have it on good authority that that's SO 3 years ago.

According to the Crash Test Dummies Superman didn't make any money fighting Solomon Grundy.

The whole point of that song is that Superman sacrifices his whole life to save the world.

There are two standard POVs on Supes. 1) He's a big boring boy scout, a reactionary supporter of the status quo, or; 2) he's utterly selfless, almost Christlike in his sacrifice for the best in humanity.

Nor, my dear, are you picking up on my teasing.

Though I admit it was crap teasing, but in my defense, I'm sick, damn it.

I was just being deferential! How often is that going to happen?

Shit, I missed deferential?!? I *must* be sick!

Be deferential some more -- maybe it'll make me feel better....
