I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I too am stumped for a Mother's Day gift. Mom doesn't wear bracelets, but those are very nice. I have chocolates to send grandma/gg.

I was stumped by a weird calorie count on some juice I have, but the nutritional info was for the concentrate, not the reconsituted juice, I was all "How can this be 120 cal/oz?!?!". der.

now to bed.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have an entire wall that I can't do anything with. It's slanted. Looks really cool, but can't hang anything on it. I guess I'll turn it into an accent wall.

I rearranged my living room tonight. I'm not sure I like it. I also have to figure out what to do with/where to hang my photos. I have a variety of friend and family photos in various frames that used to be on top of my entertainment center. I've gotten rid of the entertainment center, but cant find a good place for the photos.

hivemind question -- In moving, I found several disposable cameras that I never developed. Their expiration dates are as old as 2001. I'm curious as to what is on them, but don't want to spend money to develop them if they're not going to work because of age. Is it worth it?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

i'm pretty sure most places don't make you pay for photos they can't develop. so i say go for it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They certainly won't make you pay for printing if they can't print, and that's most of the cost. Developing the print, even if it fails, is way cheap.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Perkins, I have total clock envy! That's adorable.

Took the kids to JPL today. It was so much fun, despite the heat and the occasional cranky. Isaac wowed a few JPLers with his knowledge of various rockets and the missions they flew.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Isaac + rockets=extra adorable.

...but....but...he's still a BABY!! Isn't he? Please? OMG, how is he old enough to TALK, much less talk about rockets and missions??

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I wish I had roof access in this building so I could line-dry. (Once the surrounding trees stop sexing it up, that is.)

(And technically I do have roof access but walking on it voids the warranty so we're not supposed to go up there.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've cleaned the top of my desk and also re-arranged the network connections so that the desktop computer connects by wire to the internet instead of the WAN, which makes it much speedier -- Vista seems to be having major difficulties with wireless connections now, as my iBook is as speedy as it ever was.
