Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tommy, you start here: tommyrot "Natter 58: Let's call Venezuela!" Apr 11, 2008 6:50:21 am PDT

Heh. Thanks. I've actually tried that before (to jog my memory). Now I'll try again....

eta: Dammit, I remember making all those posts - I just don't remember what work I was doing... or supposed to be doing....

So all my worrying about resume writing turned out to be for nothing. (Which is usually how my worrying turns out, frankly.) I'm going to be freelancing for my old company for, at least, the next few weeks.

YAY money!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay money!!

You're a mess. Watch your clothing choices.

I didn't say I did it! But sometimes I put the stuff back and leave that way.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My nephew just called me to thank me for the clothes I sent. SO CUTE!!!!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How cool is this? It's like a machine shop you can get a membership to. And take classes in some awesome stuff. I want to be able to laser etch cylindrical objects with an epilog engraver.

OMG, I'm not sending my brother that link. Or maybe I am. He's always bitching about custom parts because he has such a specialized car. Just last week he was complaining about a part he has that just needs tweaking a bit.

Of course, his biggest problem right now is keeping hoses on. He carries a pack of those nylon lock ties for emergency roadside re-attachments. His record is 10 to go 2 miles. Bonus if he ever needs to tie someone up.

I'd love to etch fabric. Preferably leather.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY Kristen!
