There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I wasn't impressed by Cook's Country. I was all ready to like it, but eh, I don't cook like that. And yet they continue to send me the same damn free sample issue over and over and over...

I love this one of Noah. Such glee!

Trust my rage

I think Noah really does have the perfect belly button. It's totally adorable.

Is this the hair thread? Because I want to cut my hair - maybe later today - but I have no ideas other than to make it shorter. Here's a current picture: [link]

Art Crawl!!!

I'm going to go back to the place where I had the pad thai and see if they still have the menus with the nutritional information on them.

The Chicago Cougar was a cheesehead.

Is it because I'm squinting my eyes and looking at this picture just the right I-wanna-see-this-in-it way, or does adorable little (well, clearly quite not that little anymore!) Noah look like Kat there?

[Edit: This is SO strange. I was sure that this post was posted properly, with all the words inside it. And then they were gone. How strange.]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Uh-oh. Nilly's locked up. Someone reboot her....

tommy, I was sure all the words I put there were indeed there, and then they were gone. There's a words-stealing monster loose on the Phoenix board. Either that, or this week is catching up with me and my tiredness is showing. I think I prefer the monster option.

While the words-stealing monster is the most probable scenario, it's also possible that the URL you entered was originally incorrect - sometimes that'll kill everything that comes after....

Nope. Quite impossible. I used the same "paste" that follows the one "copy link address" on the post that kept the link.

Hmm, d'you think the board was trying to tell me that it's trying to make sure I really really truly honestly wanna post, since I hardly ever get to do it these days, and my computer forgot how?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aerosoles by mail is the worst! Learn from my mistake, and from lisah's! Don't let them fool you!

Easily 75% of my Aerosoles are Aerosoles by mail. And that's a lot of Aerosoles. They've owned my soul for a long time now.

I'll just make do with the other three pairs of shoes that did indeed ship.

The Chicago Cougar was a cheesehead.

Wasn't expecting a cat.

Stephanie, I think you should go to instyle.com/hair and pick a celebrity's hairstyle. Or it's possible I had too much fun wearing every possible hairstyle there yesterday.

But I'm done now!

Okay, need to determine wardrobe. Must find out temperature prediction.

Australia gets all the best political scandals. TROUBLED WA Opposition leader Troy Buswell has broken down in tears at a press conference and admitted he sniffed the chair of a female Liberal Party staffer. (The Liberal Party in Australia is politically conservative.)

In a separate incident, he lifted her chair and started sniffing it after she had sat in it in his parliamentary office.

The scandal follows an admission by the Liberal leader earlier this year that he had snapped open the bra of a Labor staffer.

wtf?

Wasn't the Australian Prime Minister caught up in some earwax-eating scandal?
