Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How come I never see Ronald and his giant shopping cart in my grocery store?

And now we know tomorrow's weird dreams...

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I totally get hangry. When I tell people that I need to eat, I am not joking. When I start saying, "feed me, Seymour," I am firing a warning shot. It is not good to make me wait until I start mentioning how I'm ready to rip off someone's arm, beat them to death with it, and feast upon the remains.

In this I am shrift. GF carries a granola bar around for this very purpose. Once I lost it in a Gap because I was HANGRY and they were playing the music way too LOUD!

It's no "I'm bringing pastry back," but it's still pretty cute.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

It's pretty low calorie, msbelle. My gut says too low, but that's just me.

Is a 1200 cal/day diet in a healthy range?

No. Aim for 1500-1800, depending on how much activity you get in a day. (Caveat: that's a general recommendation for msbelle-sized people ONLY. Bigger people get to eat more and still maintain their weight.)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

on the low side for a female adult, msbelle. Some weight loss plans put women on that amount, but it is risking slowing your metabolism way down.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

To me it sounds like a diet, but what do I know. (Nothing.)

thanks. that was my gut reaction also, but it seemed an easier solution than increasing exercise. I always want the easier fix.
