If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, remember the article about the 400 calorie cookies at Starbucks?

If that's what they currently are, they've gone down by half since I worked there, just FYI. McDonald's is a bargain on that scale.

(From our nutritionals then, which can't be that different really, the only things under 500 calories were bran muffins, plain croissants, and baguettes. They have a few smaller things now that might be okay, but the other muffins, scones, and especially the cookies are waaay beyond what you would anticipate.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And now I see that Chipotle was called out in last week's Times article.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I just ate a giant burrito, and man, those calories were WORTH IT.

I'm sayin'!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I didn't notice that was the McDonald's Canadian site, until I read this:

McDonald's buys and serves the same wholesome foods our customers use at home, supplied by brand name companies Canadians know and trust. Essentially, we shop where you shop - our shopping basket is just a little bit bigger. It has to be when you're serving millions of hungry Canadians every day.

Hilarious.

Also, I didn't notice that was the McDonald's Canadian site, until I read this:

How come I never see Ronald and his giant shopping cart in my grocery store?

Actually, when I realized it was the Canadian site, I went to the American site, and the Quarter Pounder with cheese is 10 calories less in the US!

Must be the exchange rate.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The ten extra calories are for Canadians to sacrifice to the Moose God?
