Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Man, Ruby seems to be fully cool with the new place. She's digging the balcony, big time. That was quick!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

if you assemble all the research, it will show that teaching math is just impossible in all but the most ideal circumstances.

Maybe Barbie was right....

Coding and Sleeping

I think my kids got the majority of their math skillz from Math Blaster.

Allyson, who doesn't love a balcony?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had very...convincing dreams last night. Restive sleep, and headaches and nausea throughout, but I managed to dream a book and/or movie and/or TV show. It was so convincing that at the time I thought I was remembering something I'd read or seen, rather than spinning it as I went along. English romantic comedy about middle-aged not-particularly-attractive people. But when I woke up and was at the point where I might have written it down everything hurt too much to bother. Which is a shame. I'm curious now.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

You're all having such interesting dreams.

...

OK, so I once dreamt about the second season of Firefly. But seriously, not much in the Cool Dreams Department here.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think that the math study thing, the results really depend on how you're defining understanding. The same teaching method might show up as giving really good understanding when testing by one method, but horrible understanding when testing by another method.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

You're all having such interesting dreams.

For me, I think it's the drugs.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You're all having such interesting dreams.

I was just thinking this morning about the comic possibilities of a character who lied about his dreams. Because, how would you know? But then maybe another character becomes obsessed with proving that he's lying about his dreams and then I guess wacky hijinks or possibly shenanigans.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I dreamt I was reading fanfiction by looking through del.ic.ious recs. I can't imagine where that came from, since that was what I was doing on the bus on the way home!
