AIMEE...WHAT WAS THE LAST MOVIE WE SAW?
What year is it?
Sadly, I think it was The Simpson's in the theater on our anniversary.
In August.
At home, for me, was August Rush.

The last movie I saw at home was Team America, World Police with my brother. The last one I saw in the theater was No Country for Old Men. The movie I saw in a theater before that was also No Country for Old Men.
Damn, it's freaky how few movies and concerts I go see these days. (A lot of movies come out and I think, "I'll buy the DVD when it comes out." Or maybe "I'll buy the DVD, if I can find it in Blockbuster's discount previously-viewed bin.")
I'm totally going to Threadless after work. If they have any shirts I want, NO SHIPPING.
what was the last movie you all saw?
The History Boys
In the theater? I honestly can't remember.
Cloverfeld , because my love of giant monster/kaiju movies is pure and unstoppable!
The last movie I saw in a theatre was something silly. . . umm, it was that movie with Katherine Heigl always being a bridesmaid. (28 Dresses?)
And I could swear I watched a movie on tv over the weekend. . . yeah, it made a huge impression on me. . . whatever it was.
what was the last movie you all saw?
In a theater? Ratatouille. At home? Not sure, but it's been awhile. Lately if I have two hours to invest in narrative, I go for a book instead.
ETA - "I go for a book instead" isn't meant to be a value judgment. Books are just easier to pick up again if I have to put them down in the middle, somehow. I feel like for a movie I have to set aside the time and know it's not going to be interrupted. And that just isn't what my life looks like anymore.
what was the last movie you all saw?
The Old Maid with Bette Davis. At the theater it was The Other Boleyn Girl.
On TV, it was Escape From Alcatraz. I have an unholy love for that movie. Also this past week was Easter Parade and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which I had never seen all the way through.
Charlie Wilson's War.
At christmas, visiting the parents. Because that's pretty much the only time I watch movies or go to a theater. The time before that? Probably the xmas before, I don't recall what.
You know how people will say their day has gone pear shaped? Mine has gone POT OF SPAGHETTI SHAPED. Aurgh. I have 86 need-attention-now email in my inbox.
Tonight I'm showing Mom "The Big Lebowski" cause somehow she's never seen it. So I guess we'll abide for a while. Which came about because Mom mixes up Sam Elliot and Ian McShane(it's a cowboy mustache thing. Only it's funny, cause she's like "Is that the guy with the whores from DW?")
