in total wah wah wah news. I was hoping to get baseball tix for Memorial Day weekend, but no such luck. Now I need a plan for entertainment - when does Speed Racer open?
The Best Western Grant Park and River North hotels are both in the $150 range, definitely affordable for downtown.

I paid about that amount to stay at the Chicago Comfort Inn last year. Plus, it had complimentary breakfast with a Belgian waffle maker!

I wish I could remember the name of the budget hotel on LSD at (I think) Ontario. I thought it was a Days Inn but I've had no luck searching their site. I often heard it was suprisingly cheap but this would have been at least eight years ago.
The pictures are just surreal - you've got everyone in blue ponchos, with rows and rows of Coke bottles spewing Coke into the air....
It gave me a bit of a Hogwarts great hall vibe. Harry Potter and the geysers of fizzy stickiness.
